Catherine Holden Todd

Catherine Holden Todd was born 12 April 1838 in Dysart Parish, Fife, Scotland, the second of four daughters to Alexander 'Sandy' Todd, a linen weaver, and Margaret Melville.

She was married in Dysart Parish on 4 January 1858 to Walter Dryburgh, a coal miner of Wemyss Parish, and immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1869 aboard the S.S. Columbia with her husband and five children.

The Dryburgh family settled in Allegheny County, and raised an additional six children born in America. Catherine passed away 22 Dec 1926, and is buried in Churchill Cemetery in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. The date of the photo is unknown.
