Martin Kier

Martin Kier, 1836 to 1906.

He was a veteran of the Civil War, and a graduate of Iron City College in Pittsburgh, after which he lived in Homer City, Indiana County, PA. During his life, he was a storekeeper, owned a hotel, was a postmaster, and a Justice of the Peace. He was devoted to the Grand Army of the Republic (Civil War Veterans association) and traveled around the country to may of their encampments.
