James Albert Zimmerman and Catherine Krushinski Greer Zimmerman and their children

James Albert Zimmerman 1882 - 1945 and  Catherine (Krushinski-Greer) Zimmerman 1892 - 1977. They were married on 7 June, 1907 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio since Catherine was less than 16 years of age and could not be married in Pennsylvania.

The photo shows James and Catherine and their four oldest children; Sarah Blanche (Zimmerman) Murphy 1908 - 1974, Lydia Margaret (Zimmerman) King 1910 - , Jessie Marie (Zimmerman) Dimpsey 1912 - 1998 and Clarence 1914 - 1995. The youngest child, Clarence is sitting in the high chair. The child standing on the chair is Jesse Marie. It is believed that the child standing in front of Catherine is Lydia Margaret and Sarah Blanche is in front of Jessie Marie. This was taken at their home on New Texas Road, Plum township, Allegheny County, PA. Their home can be seen in the background. Based on the age of Clarence, the time period for this picture is circa 1914.
