Jennie Ruth and Geneva Ruth, sisters, children of Edward Ruth and Mary Ellen
Marean.
Left, Jennie Ruth, born April 11, 1895. Died May 14, 1922. She married
Emerson Rahn. It is believed that she is the one on the left.
Right, Anna Geneva Ruth. She was called Geneva. Born Aug. 21, 1897.
Died Dec 7, 1962. Married Robert Wallace in 1921. Their daughter, Mary Marean
Wallace Kirk was their only child.
These little girls' grandfather was Jacob Ruth, a Union veteran with the PA
147th. They lived in the Stroudsburg, PA area.
Photo reads "Jennie and Geneva." Photo from Ada Bell Ruth's photo album. She
died in 1949.
