Mercedes Marie Mitchell, daughter of Herbert J. Mitchell (1890-1955) and Mary Doretta Catherine Theodora Werthmann (1896-1995), was born 22 Aug 1916.  She died 4 Oct 2004 in Los Angeles County, CA, and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom, Beaver County, PA.

She worked as a floor lady at Keystone Bakery in West Bridgewater, Beaver County, PA.

She married Anthony Vincent "Tony" Chop, son of Stanko (Stanislaus) Cop, aka Stanley Chop (1886-1965) and Ana Strbrni (1885-1935).  Tony was born 3 Jan 1915 and died 26 Jan 1950 in Aspinwall, PA.  He is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Freedom, Beaver County, PA.
