Captain Ezra Dougherty Brisbin

Captain Ezra Dougherty Brisbin born Oct 20, 1829 in Boalsburg, Pa. and died
on May 29, 1895 in Tyrone, PA. Ezra served in the Civil War when he enlisted as
a Union Captain of the Woodbury Zouaves on October 24, 1861. This was an
organization attached to the 1st Brigade, 16th Division, PA Militia. He served
in Company "C" of the 110th Infantry Regiment of Pennsylvania.
Married Mary Maxwell in 1856. Father of John Brisbin, Wilbur J. Brisbin,
Minnie Belle Brisbin and Charles B. Brisbin.
