Margaret Edith Downing was the daughter of Saul A. Downing and Laura Ella
Williams, born 9 Apr 1897 in Foxburg, Clarion County, Pa. She died on 30
Jan.1983 in Garland, Warren County, Pa., and was buried 2 Feb 1983 in the
Garland Presbyterian Cemetery, Garland, Warren Co., Pa.
On 6 Sept 1916, she married Glenn Harrison Barnes, Sr., in Tionesta, Forest Co.,
Pa. He was the son of Leonard Harrison Barnes and Mary E. Hindman. Glenn
Harrison Barnes, Sr., was born on 25 Apr 1894 on Whig Hill, Forest Co., Pa., and
died 19 Oct 1959 and is buried in the Garland Presbyterian Cemetery, Garland,
Warren Co., Pa.
