Rebecca Major, born in 1856, in Scranton, Luzerne
Co, PA, the daughter of David R. and Sarah Davies Major.
She married William Watson Hawn of Brady Twp in
1880. They became the parents of: Herbert Hawn, Richard
Hawn, Nellie Hawn Moore, Sarah Edith Hawn Miller, Martha Hawn Speck, Margaretta
Hawn Speck, and Glen Hawn.
Rebecca died in Brady Twp, Huntingdon Co., PA, in 1946, and is buried in the
Mountainview Cemetery, Millcreek, Huntingdon Co., PA.
