Thomas Martin Heister was a teacher at Brownsville School, Church Elder at Hain's Church, Wernersville, Pa.; Warden at Berks County Prison; Postmaster at Wernersville Post Office in 1935; and Assistant Clerk at County Courthouse, Reading, Pa. He married in 1905 to Adeline Rosa Reifsnyder, b. 1881 d. 1957, daughter of Samuel S. Reifsnyder and Maria Anna Gicker. They became the parents of three children: Vernon T. Hiester b. 1908, d. 1965. Myrtle A. Hiester, b. 1909, d. 1979. Mary L. Hiester Garrison, b. 1921, d. 2001. More family information at the Hiester Family Tree website
