Arthur Bohn and Ralph Reinhard (maternal Lohmann cousins)

Arthur Bohn is the baby in the photograph and Ralph Reinhard is the older toddler aged child. Both were maternal cousins on the Lohmann side of the family. Arthur Bohn was the son of Carl and Martha (Bohn). His family died early on and he came to live with his Aunt Anna Louise (Lohmann) Reinhard of Middleport Illinois (now called Pittwood).
Arthur's brother was Webb Bohn but he died from appendicitis. His mother died from typhoid fever in her 20's. It is not known what happened to his father Carl. He came to the Us earlier with his brother Hermann. They were from Cresline, Germany. Carl's brother Herman also married a Lohmann sister (Emma).

Ralph Fred Carl Wesley Reinhard was the son of Philip Louis and Anna Louise (Lohmann) Reinhard. His siblings were Laura (married Douglas Russell), Amanda (married Earl Lethbey and Hugh Walker), Meta (married John Elwood Bales), Roy Herman (married Helen McIntyre), and Lula Irene (married Richard Lunde). Ralph's family was from Watertown, Dodge County, Wisconsin where most of the siblings were born. Ralph Reinhard's family are descendants Gerhard and Louisa (Virchow) Lohmann of Watertown, Wisconsin and Germany before that. The Reinhard family were also descendents of Christian and Philippina (Reinhard-maiden name)Reinhard who both immigrated from Germany with their family and his father Johann Philip Reinhard (J.P). Christian's oldest son William was owner of Reinhard Lumberyard in Reesville, Dodge County, Wisconsin and the youngest son Christian Jr. was the village butcher in Resseville. The children of Christian and Philippina were Katherine (Born in Germany), William(Born in Germany), Philippina (born in Germany), Philip Louis (born Wisconsin, US, Christian Jr (born in Wisconsin US).
