Trolley Car, Washington, DC 1910s

Trolley Car, Washington, DC 1910s

Washington, DC Street Car with two unknown men, probably the Motorman and the Conductor for Car No. 654.

Photo from an old postcard.

Streetcar 654

This is a nice photo, but it is NOT Washington DC. NONE of the streetcar companies had cars of that type with number 654. It appears to be a Pittsburgh Railway [or predessor] car head to Washington PA. The two gentlemen ARE the motorman and conductor, not maybe.

Car 654

Since the car is on private right of way with overhead wiring, The car is inbound to Washington from Glen Echo, MD
