Photo of Julia Angeline Pollard, married to John H. Clemens

Thank you so much!!!! I have been struggling to find anything about John Harrison Clemens for about 25 years. I never dreamed I could find a picture of Julia!

My husband is a g grandson of John Harrison Clemens. If you have an further information about this family, my husband's grandfather must have been named after his Maternal Grandfather, Jesse D. Pollard. who had a son, James Delavan Clemens. Census records list him as Jesse D Jr.

Please write and let me know. This is so exciting!

pollard sisters

Hi, Glad you like the Pollard sisters. Their brother died in Dec 1936. He was not in the picture so I think the picture was taken at the reunion in 1937. I met Mary Wilhoit at the nsg home in Excelsior Springs shortly before she died as she told my d-i-l who was working there in nsg she had Pollard relatives. I was fortunate to have a picture of her and my husband together. My husband is the Pollard and Ella Louise would be his great aunt. He remembers meeting some of the Clark sons when his family (Raymond Pollard would visit them). I contacted Mary's daughter Mrs Flood and was to go visit with her about genealogy but last year was not a good one for us. Hopefully may be able to work on my lists again this summer. Mrs Wilhoit told me she had many old pictures and I hope we get to visit Mrs Flood this year.
The sisters had a jug they passed around each time they all were together and hid it in someones suitcase before they separated. They must of had good times.
