Mary M. Hawk-Huston was born Jan 1857 in Muskingum County, Ohio, and died Jan 20, 1936. She is buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Coshocton County, Ohio.

The man in the portrait is unknown, but most likely it is her father Charles Hawk or her second husband David Huston.

She was married first to Charles Stanton May 9, 1875 in Muskingum County, Ohio. He passed away, then she married David Huston April 14, 1885 in Coshocton County, Ohio. He died Jan 16, 1904 and is buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery next to Mary.

This is my husband's great-grandmother. The picture is of her husband David. We have other photos of the family taken with his portrait after he died. David was a Civil War veteran. Mary was his second wife.

I am so glad to meet a new cousin. Mary was my 2nd great grandmother, I descend from her first husband Charles Stanton, he died abt. 1875 in Muskingum county. Any photos you can send to me I would very much appreciate it....this is the only photo I have of Mary. Looking forward to hearing back from ya.
