Son of Ernest Sr and Marie Weide, Turner born Oct 26 1921 Sebring, OH died Aug 5 1978 Yakima, WA
My name is Timothy Rowe Turner from Redding CA.and I want to thank you for blessing my life recently. This is one of many, many photos of my father Ernest Jr.and my family(the Turner/Weide line)
that I have never seen. I am new at Ancestry.com and brand new here at Familyoldphotos.com. I am truly amazed. I really don't know who you are or how we are related or how these gems ended up with you, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart. My lineage seemed at a dead end for many years but recently I have discovered a vast amount of wonderful history that has been graciously revealed to me at this time. Please fill me in on these details about yourself and are there any more photos of family stories that we need to know about!!!
I came across your name on google. My mother was your mothers half sister Lorene Krantz Vansaghi from Illinois. My wife is working on our family history and we are trying to fill in the blanks. We have several pictures Ruth sent of the family over the years. I would like to correspond if that is ok. My email is [email protected].
Thanks, Mike V.
Wonders of wonders I have been looking for you and Candy for several years. I am your uncle Howard's second daughter. The pictures I posted are from our Grandmother Marie's steamer trunk. It had been in my parents upstairs closet, probably since she came back to Ohio after Grandpa Ernie died. I have many, many more pictures and both theirs and our Great Grandfather Jonathan and Margaret Strong's, marriage licenses.
Do you keep in touch with Candy? Is she well and happy?
I have posted our history and pictures, grave stones, etc on several web pages hoping some of our "lost" cousins might see them. Do you know anything about our cousin Ralph. Maybe that isn't his given name? He is the son of Lester and Mary ?. I think he was my age(67)maybe a little older. I only remember meeting him once. I think he lived in Arizona.
Last year our cousin Diana(Dee)Bratton, Wilford (Margaret's youngest)found me the same way you did. We spent a lot of great correspondence catching up. My daughter spent a summer with Dee in 1970's. I got her started on Face book and I made a web page so we could pass pictures and things back in forth. Alas, she is not very well and doesn't get on line as much as she wants.
Are you on facebook? My homepage has most of our stuff.
Please email me and tell me all about yourself.Do you have a family? We know nothing about your parents.
Please let me know what I can help you with. This is a glorious day!! Meg(Peggy) Turner,Kemp mk[email protected]
