Soldier Named Baker

Soldier Named Baker

Unknown World War I Soldier, identified only as "Baker".

Photo from a scrapbook made by Minnie Brown Harclerode.

This soldier may be from Monessen, Westmoreland, PA or Everett, Bedford County, PA.

Do you recognize him? Please let me know.

John Howard BAKER JR

this photo looks similar to one I already have at the time of my Great Uncle John Howard Baker JR, born in Massachusetts about 1897 and died 1919 in France during WWI. I am not sure because it's closer up than mine but it looks like it is him. The one Ive got he's wearing a hat and is set further back it was in a book titled Andover during WWI referring to Andover, Massachusetts.

Did your great-uncle ever live in Pa (Monessen or Everett)? The guy in the photo was probably from either Monessen or Everett, Pa.
