Abraham Loren Vaneps, born 1834, died 1908, lived Deerfield Twp Warren county Pa. He was a farmer and local preacher.

His first wife was Nancy Jane McCormick 1840-1898.

His second wife was Amanda Jones Crippen Vaneps. They were married Dec 24, 1898. She died 1909.

Abraham Loren Vaneps was a Civil War Veteran. He enlisted in Warren County, Aug 20 1862, Mustered out May 31 1865, and served with Co. F 145th P.V.I.

At the end of the war Company F 145th P.V.I had only 12 men of the original enlistment of over 100. Abraham Loren Vaneps was one of them. His name is on the Pennsylvania Monument at Gettysburg. They fought in the wheat field there.
