Reuben George was the son of Martin L. and Anna Davis George of Mercer County. His wife, Mary Jane was the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Longwell Miller of Clarion County.

Reuben and Mary Jane George lived in East Brady, Clarion County.

Reuben was born Nov 20 1837 in Mercer Co. and died July 29, 1906 in East Brady. He was a Civil War veteran who served in the 78th Reg., Company B. Mary Jane Miller was born April 9, 1844 in West Freedom and died in East Brady December 13, 1917.

Reuben and Mary Jane are pictured here sitting in their parlor along side the coffin of their son, Christian Ellsworth George who was killed by a train in Kittanning on August 24, 1899.
