Gover, Louise Ann Foust; Clarion County obituary - Mrs. Louise Foust. Funeral services were held on Friday, April 26, from the Guy M. Hawk Funeral Home in Sligo for Mrs. Louise Anna Foust, 95, of Sligo, who died Wednesday, April 24, at West Monterey Rd. She was born in Clarion County on February 2, 1868. Mrs. Foust was a member of the First Church of God of Dutch Hill. Her husband, Warren T. Foust, died in 1938. She is survived by five sons and two daughters. They are L.W. Foust of Clarion, Mrs. Eli (Laura) Terwilliger of Parker. Harlan Foust of W. Monterey Rd, Fred S. Foust of Mt. Dora, Fla., Mrs. Sarah Van Dyne of Cambridge O., Glenn Foust of Winchester, Ind., and Charles Foust of Curtisville. She is also survived by 47 grandchildren. Rev. Mae Medford, pastor of the Dutch Hill Church of God, Officiated at the services. Interment followed in the Dutch Hill Cemetery.
Faust, Laura Belle Terwilliger; Clarion County obituary - Mrs. Laura Belle Terwilliger, 93, of Parker R.D. 1, died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday at the home of her son, Richard Terwilliger, with whom she resided. Born May 17, 1889, in West Freedom, Perry Township, she was the daughter of Warren and Louise Best FAUST. She was married July 19, 1906, to Eli Terwilliger. He died April 28, 1996. Surviving are four sons, Donald Terwilliger of Parker, Paul of Hamburg N.Y., Russell of St. Cloud Fla., and Richard of Parker R.D. 1; three daughters, Mrs. Glenna Morgan of Butler, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Carmichael of Tarfford, and Mrs. June Bingman of Gaithersburgh, Md.; two brothers, Fred Faust of Mt. Dora, Fla., and Glenn of Indiana, PA,; 28 grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren. A son Warren; three brothers, Harland, Charles, and Lester Foust; one sister, Sarah, and three grandchildren preceded her in death. Terwilliger - Friends of Mrs. Laura Belle Terwilliger of Parker R.D. 1, who died Saturday, May 7, 1983, will be received at the Hawk Funeral Home, Sligo from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Monday. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Funeral home, with the Rev. Merwin Schwabb, retired Methodist minister, of Sligo R.D., officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. Arrangements by Hawk. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Terwilliger, Donald Tilden; Butler Eagle obituary - Donald T. Terwilliger, 91, of West Freedom, Parker RD 2, died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 1998, at the home of his daughter in Franklin. Born Feb. 2, 1907, in Perry Township, Clarion County, he was a son of Eli T. and Laura B. Foust Terwilliger. Mr. Terwilliger was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Clarion, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired in 1972 form Penreco in Karns City. He was married in October 1929 in West Freedom to Hazel Wilson, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 27, 1981. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Fred E. and Ruthann Terwilliger; four daughters, Mrs. Dale (Laura C.) Young, Mrs. James (Donna M.) Stoops, Mrs. Thomas (Joy H.) Huff and Mrs. Glenn (Fay) Hindman; and a special friend, Mrs. Geraldine Bartow. Also surviving are a brother, Richard Terwilliger; three sisters, Mrs. Glenna Morgan, Mrs. Harold (Dorthy) Carmichael and Mrs. June Binghert; a number of nieces and nephews, 14 grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding him in death were three brothers, Paul, Russell and Warren; and a sister, Agnes. Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Perryville Cemetery, Perry Township, Clarion County. The family suggests memorials be made to the Venango County Visiting Nurses Association or to the Venango County Area Agency on Aging.
