Edgar William Painter (1916 -1998), school picture, taken when he was about 14.

He was the son of Raymond Painter and Gladys Mortimer Painter. His paternal grandparents were William Painter and Lydia Pence Painter, and his maternal grandparents were William P. Mortimer and Bertha Buzzard Mortimer.

He married Lillian Austin, and had three children, Nancy, Rosalie, and James.

He lived his life in St. Charles, Armstrong County, where he worked at the brick factory.

When retired, he lived in New Bethlehem, in Clarion County.
