The following is from Death Certificate of Melvin Eugene Doverspike

Melvin Eugene Doverspike, was born Feb 16, 1910 in North Freedom Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co., and died Mar 31 1965 at age 55 years in Venango County. His mailing address was R. D. 3 - Buttermilk Hill Franklin, PA but, he actually lived in Canal Venango Co., PA. He was buried Apr 3 1965 in Mt Tabor, Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co., PA. Occupation, Machinist at Joy Mfg. Co. He married Mable Miller. He was the son of William Doverspike and Nora George.

The following is from the Marriage License of William M. Doverspike and Nora S. George.

William M. Doverspike, age 22, residinging at New Mayville, PA, married Apr 24 1907 Nora S. George, age 19, also residing at New Mayville, PA. The services were performed by R. Franklin Main, Minister of the Gospel near New Mayville, Armstrong Co., PA. Signed in the presence of M. Hanky, Oak Ridge, PA and L. Miller Oak Ridge, PA.

He was a laborer and the son of George and Mary Doverspike. Nora S. George was the daughter of Jacob Amanda E. George.

Hi, Eugene & Mable are my grandparents. Thank you for this beautiful website, it is so interesting to put people/faces in pictures to actual names in a family tree. You have done an awesome job!
Just FYI on the info you provided above, grandpa & grandma Doverspike did actually have a two story home and farm acreage on Buttermilk Hill - the house still exists today but it is sadly, no longer in the family. I would be happy to share any info you would like on family heritage, if you would like.
