F. Golla, Pasi & Co. Bakery, Kittanning, PA

The gentleman in the bakery truck is my grandfather, Fred Golla. To the far right, holding the basket of bread loaves, is his brother Adolph Golla, the baker. The other men and the child in the photo are not identified.

The photo was taken at the end of North Grant Avenue in Kittanning, PA (now the corner of North Grant Avenue and Victory Street). The bakery was in operation at that location from about 1923 - 1937. The ovens were located in the basement of the building shown in the background, known today as the Kittanning Macaroni factory.
