James Moffatt

James Moffatt

James Moffatt (1827-1910) was born in Cadymore, County Armagh, Ireland, the son of James and Mary (Ingrem) Moffatt. He came to Canada and married Anna Rumley (1831-1916) at Port Hope, ON in 1847. They had 13 children. They relocated to Bloomfield, ON in the 1850's, then to Bobcaygeon, ON in the 1860's. James died in Cincinnati, Ohio and was buried in Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon, ON. He was a Blacksmith by trade.
