Linda Harrill and Saletha Harrill

Linda Harrill and Saletha Harrill

From the photo album of Mary Lucinda Bundrant.
Harrill may be a misspelling; probable correct spelling is Harrell.

Saluda "Luda" Harrell and Selethia Harrell

I now believe the correct names are: Saluda "Luda" Harrell and Selethia Harrell.

They are the daughters of Sarah Ann Bundrant and James Jackson Harrell.
Selethia, born 1851 in AL;
Saluda Evaline, born 11 June 1857 in Lee County, TX; married a Kennedy, and died 4 October 1946 in Saturn, Gonzales County, TX.

Saluda Evaline Harrell

Saluda Evaline Harrell was my Gr-Grandmother. My Grandmother was her daughter Kate Kennedy who married Luther Hill.
My Grandfather and Grandfather left Texas for South Dakota where I was raised.

It was a thrill to run into this online while researching my gr-grandmother. I met her when I was just two years old but I remember her and I have returned to Texas to Kennedy Reunion which was held in the house that Saluda and George Kennedy raised their family.
Who has these pictures?

I would love to hear from you.

Your great grandmother

I'm so glad you enjoyed finding these photos. They are from a small photo album that belonged to my great grandmother, Mary Lucinda Bundrant, that I now have. I'll take a look through the other albums and see if I can find any more of your great grandmother.
I think Saluda's mother Sarah, was my great grandmother's aunt (i.e. father's sister.)
I used to put the information and photos I found on more recently I have been using wikitree. Please contact me directly by email; I'd love to fill in another branch of the family tree.

Saluda Harrell

Photo of Mary Harrill

Did Mary Harrill live in Texas? I do know that there were Harrills in Oklahoma and Texas. My great-great uncle, Samuel F Harrill (1861-1936) left Rutherford County, North Carolina and went to Durant, Oklahoma to become a cotton broker. His family remained descendants were in both Texas and Oklahoma.

Harrill photos

I would guess that these sisters lived in Texas or nearby. The photo album belonged to my great grandmother and she lived in Texas.

Are these relatives of

Are these relatives of Alzada Harrell by chance? She was married to a Standifer in Bastrop Co., Texas.
