C. H. Fee Residence, Cisco, Texas
According to the History of Eastland County, 1904, C. H. Fee operated
a "hardware, furniture and implement house". The book goes on to say: "In
August, 1883, Mr. Fee located in Cisco and established the business which has
grown to such magnitude as to require the use of three large buildings.
"Mr. Fee was born in Oxford, Mississippi, and educated at the State
University located there. He is one of Scotch-Irish decent and comes of a
high toned and godly ancestry. Has been an important factor in the
development of Cisco, and has been identified with every enterprise for the
advancement of its interests."
