St. Josephs Nurse pic

I have a nearly identical photo. Same people, same poses and outfits. A few are looking in a different direction.

Mine is in the photo book of Helen Souter, who attended St. Josephs.

Her caption under the photo is "Red Cross, Surgical Dressing and First Aid March 1918 (heavy crosses)"

Your photo is dated 1920, but it was definitely taken the same time as mine.

St.Joseph's Nurses

Thanks for your comment.
I still have a number of items from this collection that belonged to my Grandmother,Anna Hampson Burns.
There are also a few small professionally posed photos of her friends, from this time period.
I need to take another look at these things !
Do you know where your Helen is in this photo ?

Mercer Soldiers'Orphan School, (SOS)

The pictures of these nurses may not worked for the Orphanage I'm asking about....I'm hoping some one may remember the old Orphanage back in the early 1900s. It was nicknamed.......SOS, "SOLDIERS' ORPHAN SCHOOL" Back in 1909 the President of the SOS was August A Schutte; Vice President, Saville Schrner Felt; Secretary, Vinnie Fell Baird and the Treasurer, Phil Roby. I had my Grandmother and all her sisters living at the orphanage after their parents passed away. My Grandmother's family name was Nichols, birth name "POE" Her brothers were sent off to relatives and foster homes. Can anyone help me??? Sincerely, Don Griffith
